What this is
ഒരു വാർത്താമുറിയല്ല. ഒരു കേൾവിമുറിയാണ്.
NewsTeller does not employ reporters and does not break stories. Kerala’s publishers do that work. We take what they have published and turn it into a bulletin you can hear — so the day can be followed without a feed.
The stage stays on. Each story names its source. The original article remains on the publisher’s site. A transcript sits beside the audio, so you can read what was spoken and open the report if you want the full piece.
The name on the door, varthaketto (വാർത്ത കേട്ടോ), is the Malayalam for “did you hear the news?”
How a bulletin is made

We begin only with a story a publisher has already put on the record. Nothing is written to fill a quiet hour.

That reporting becomes a short script: what happened, where, and who reported it. The publisher is named in the bulletin.

The script is spoken by a synthetic voice. There is no presenter in a studio, and the voice can mispronounce a name or a place.

On air, you get the audio, a transcript of what was said, and a link back to the original article.
Whose reporting

Every bulletin is built from one article by one of these Malayalam publishers, and the bulletin says which. The reporting is theirs; the links go to them.
